Old Dalby travelled to Collingham looking to stretch their unbeaten run on a day when the weather and a fly past by a Vulcan Bomberlooked likely to be the winner. With the game reduced to 36 overs Dalby batted first and opener George Pierce made a fine 56 helped by David Greaves (55). The team made steady progress finishing on 176 for 5 in the 36 overs. After tea the rain started and it looked like the game would have to be abandoned but the clouds passed and Dalby’s bowlers made quick work of despatching the batsmen. Collingham were all out for 70 in 19.5 overs. Bowling: Toby Smith 1-15, Carrick Fone 1-20, Joe Gant 3-22 and David Greaves 3-6.
